Public Bus
From Setúbal city center, head to the Setúbal bus station (Estação de Autocarros de Setúbal). Take the bus number 153 towards Lisbon. This bus will take you directly to Lisbon. Get off at the Campo Pequeno stop. From there, you can either walk or take the metro.
Train
From Setúbal train station, take a train towards Lisbon (Cais do Sodré). The journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Lisbon's Cais do Sodré station, transfer to the metro (Green Line) towards Telheiras and get off at the Campo Pequeno station. From there, you can walk to the José Alvalade Stadium.
Walking
If you are near Campo Pequeno station, you can walk to José Alvalade Stadium. Exit the station and head northeast on Avenida de Berna. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Rua Professor Fernando da Fonseca. Turn left onto Rua Professor Fernando da Fonseca, and you will see the stadium.
Metro
Take the metro from Setúbal to Lisbon using the train services to Cais do Sodré. Once in Lisbon, transfer to the metro at Cais do Sodré and take the Green Line towards Telheiras. Get off at Campo Pequeno station. From there, follow the walking directions to the José Alvalade Stadium.
