Public Transport
From Setúbal, walk to the Setúbal bus station (Terminal Rodoviário de Setúbal). Take the bus to Lisbon, which usually departs every 30 minutes. Upon arrival in Lisbon, head to the metro station nearby (Campo de Ourique) and take the metro to the 'Martim Moniz' station (Green Line). Once you exit the station, follow the signs for 'Miradouro da Senhora do Monte'. It's about a 15-minute walk uphill. You will walk along Rua da Palma, then take a right onto Rua do Monte until you reach Largo Monte, where the viewpoint is located.
Walking
If you are already in central Setúbal, head towards Avenida Luísa Todi and find the nearest bus stop for public transport to Lisbon. Once in Lisbon, you can choose to walk from 'Martim Moniz' station. Head up Rua da Palma and continue to follow the street as it curves until you reach Rua do Monte. Keep going straight until you arrive at Largo Monte. The walk will take approximately 30 minutes but is a lovely way to see the city.
Taxi or Rideshare
You can also take a taxi or use a rideshare app (like Uber) from your current location in Setúbal directly to Miradouro da Senhora do Monte in Lisbon. The driver will take the quickest route via the A2 highway, and it should take about 40-50 minutes depending on traffic.
