Getting There

• Walking

  If you are in the center of Setúbal, start by heading to the Setúbal Train Station (Estação Ferroviária de Setúbal). From the station, walk towards Avenida Luísa Todi, the main avenue. Follow Avenida Luísa Todi until you reach the waterfront. Once at the waterfront, look for the ferry terminal and take the ferry to Lisbon. The ferry ride will take approximately 30 minutes. When you arrive at Cais do Sodré in Lisbon, exit the terminal and walk to the nearby metro station. Take the Green Line (Linha Verde) towards Telheiras and get off at the stop called 'Baixa-Chiado'. From there, transfer to the Blue Line (Linha Azul) towards Santa Apolónia and get off at 'Alameda'. Exit the station and walk towards the street named 'R. Me. Deus', which will be approximately a 15-minute walk. The National Tile Museum will be at R. Me. Deus 4, 1900-312 Lisboa.

• Bus

  Start at the Setúbal Bus Station (Terminal Rodoviário de Setúbal). Take the bus line that goes to Lisbon - you can check with the local timetable for the specific bus number and frequency. The bus ride to Lisbon will take about 1 hour. Once in Lisbon, you will arrive at the Sete Rios bus terminal. From there, navigate to the metro station connected to the terminal and take the Blue Line (Linha Azul) towards Santa Apolónia. Get off at the 'Alameda' stop. After exiting the metro, head towards R. Me. Deus, which is a 15-minute walk from the station. The National Tile Museum is located at R. Me. Deus 4, 1900-312 Lisboa.
