Getting There

Metro

Take the Metro to the 'Cais do Sodré' station on the Green Line. From there, exit the station and head towards the riverfront. Look for the train station, 'Cais do Sodré', and board the Cascais Line train towards 'Cascais'. Stay on the train for approximately 30 minutes until you reach the 'S. Pedro do Estoril' station.
Walking

Once you arrive at 'S. Pedro do Estoril', exit the station and head towards the coast. Walk straight on the Av. Marginal for about 15 minutes, following the road as it curves along the shoreline. You will see 'Praia das Avencas' on your right, just before you reach the address 'Av. Marginal 3366, Lisboa'.
Bus

From the 'Cais do Sodré' station, you can also take bus number 403 towards 'Cascais'. Get off at the 'S. Pedro do Estoril' stop, and from there, walk towards the beach by heading down the Av. Marginal for about 15 minutes until you reach 'Praia das Avencas'.
