Walk
From the Setúbal train station, exit onto Avenida 5 de Outubro and turn left. Walk straight until you reach the end of the street, which leads to the waterfront. Continue along the waterfront promenade until you reach the ferry terminal (Terminal Marítimo de Setúbal). Take the ferry to Lisbon. Upon arrival at the Cais do Sodré station in Lisbon, walk towards the Praça do Comércio square. From there, head northwest on Rua do Comércio until you reach Rua da Esperança. Continue on this road for about 10 minutes until you reach Avenida Dom Carlos I. The Chafariz da Esperança is located at number 69.

Public Transport
From Setúbal, take the bus from Setúbal bus station (Terminal Rodoviário de Setúbal) to Lisbon. Look for buses heading to the Praça de Espanha or Campo de Ourique, as they make stops close to central Lisbon. After arriving in Lisbon, you can take tram number 28 from the nearest tram stop to the bus terminal. Get off at the stop for Praça do Comércio and walk northwest to Rua da Esperança. After a 10-minute walk, you will reach Avenida Dom Carlos I, where Chafariz da Esperança is located.
