Once you get off at the Sintra center stop, walk down the main street, Rua de São Pedro, until you reach the Praça da República. From there, follow the signs to the Sintra National Palace. After visiting the palace, continue down the street to the left, and take a right onto Rua do Paço, where you'll find the bus stop for the 403 or 417 bus that goes to Lisbon. The journey will take you to Cais das Colunas in Praça do Comércio.

    From Sintra, go to the Sintra train station. Purchase a ticket to Lisbon, and take the train towards Rossio station. The train ride typically takes about 40 minutes. Once you arrive at Rossio, exit the train station and walk towards Praça da Figueira. From there, head towards the metro station and take the Green Line towards Cais do Sodré. Get off at Cais do Sodré, and then walk towards Rua da Prata until you reach Praça do Comércio. Follow the signs to Cais das Colunas, which is located on the waterfront.
