If you are starting from the Sintra train station, exit the station and head towards the Avenida Doutor Miguel Bombarda. Turn left and walk until you reach the bus stop for the Scotturb bus 434. Take the bus towards 'Palácio da Pena'. After about 10 minutes, get off at the stop 'Castelo dos Mouros'. From there, follow the signs to the Castelo de São Jorge, walking downhill. The walk will take approximately 15-20 minutes.

From the Sintra train station, take the bus number 434 to 'Castelo dos Mouros'. Once you arrive at the Castelo dos Mouros stop, it is about a 15-20 minute walk down the hill. Follow the signs directing you towards the 'Castelo de São Jorge'. The bus ride will take roughly 10 minutes.

If you are near the historic center of Sintra, head towards the main square (Praça da República). From there, walk up the Rua Dr. Alfredo da Costa until you reach the entrance of the Castelo dos Mouros. After visiting, follow the path downhill towards the city center, where you will find signs leading you to the Castelo de São Jorge. The walk should take around 30-40 minutes.
