If you are in the center of Sintra, start by walking towards the Sintra train station. From the station, head east on Avenida Dr. Miguel Bombarda until you reach the intersection with Rua da Ferraria. Turn left onto Rua da Ferraria and continue straight until you come to the intersection with Rua da Liberdade. Turn right onto Rua da Liberdade and follow it until you reach the Largo da República. From there, continue straight onto Avenida da Liberdade. After about 10 minutes of walking, you will reach the Fonte Luminosa located at Alameda Dom Afonso Henriques. Look for the prominent fountain and park area.

From Sintra, take bus number 434 from the Sintra train station towards the Sintra historic center. Get off at the stop 'Cascais - Sintra' after approximately 10 minutes. From there, you can switch to bus number 708 towards Lisbon. After a 30-minute ride, get off at the 'Alameda Dom Afonso Henriques' stop. The Fonte Luminosa will be just a short walk away.
