Walking
If you are in the center of Sintra, start at the Sintra train station. Exit the station and head towards the main road, Avenida Dr. Miguel Bombarda. Walk straight along this road for about 10 minutes until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto R. Barbosa du Bocage. Continue walking for about 5 minutes; you will see the entrance to Quinta da Regaleira on your left. Enter the estate, where the Initiation Well is located within the gardens.

From the Sintra train station, take bus number 434 towards the Moorish Castle. This bus will take you to the Sintra historic center. Get off at the 'Centro Histórico de Sintra' stop. From there, follow the signs to Quinta da Regaleira, which is about a 15-minute walk. Head down R. da Ferraria, then turn right onto R. Barbosa du Bocage. The entrance to Quinta da Regaleira will be on your left side.
