Getting There

    If you are driving from Lisbon, take the A8 motorway towards Leiria. Continue on the A8 for about 30 km until you see the exit for Mafra (Exit 7). Follow the signs for Mafra which will lead you onto the N116 road. Continue on N116 for about 5 km until you reach Mafra. The Mafra National Palace is located in the town center at Terreiro D. João V. There is parking available nearby, but be mindful of any parking fees.

    To reach Mafra National Palace via public transport from Lisbon, head to Campo Grande Station and take the bus operated by Mafrense (Bus Line 350) towards Mafra.
