Getting There

• Bus

  From the Sintra train station, walk to the nearby bus stop, which is located directly outside the station. Look for the bus that goes to Lisbon, specifically the line 434, which connects to the Palácio Nacional da Ajuda. Board the bus and enjoy the ride, which will take approximately 30 minutes. The bus will drop you off at the Largo da Ajuda stop. Once you disembark, you will see the Palácio Nacional da Ajuda directly ahead.

• Tuk-Tuk

  In Sintra, you can find Tuk-Tuk services near the main tourist attractions. Simply approach a Tuk-Tuk driver and inform them you wish to go to the Palácio Nacional da Ajuda.   You can easily find a taxi in Sintra near popular tourist spots. Simply tell the driver you want to go to the Palácio Nacional da Ajuda. The journey will take about 30 minutes, depending on traffic. It’s a comfortable option if you prefer not to use public transport.
