If you are starting from the Sintra train station, exit the station and head towards the main road (Avenida Dr. Miguel Bombarda). Turn right and follow this avenue until you reach the roundabout. Continue straight past the roundabout, and you will see a bus stop. From here, you can take the 434 bus towards the Moorish Castle. The bus will take you directly to the entrance of the castle. Alternatively, if you prefer to walk, continue straight along the road until you reach the entrance to the castle, which will be approximately a 30-minute walk uphill.

From the Sintra train station, look for the bus stop located just outside the station. Take bus number 434, which is specifically designed for tourists. The bus will take you directly to the Moorish Castle. Make sure to check the bus schedule as they may vary throughout the day. The journey will take around 15-20 minutes.
