Walking
If you are in the center of Sintra, start by heading towards the Sintra train station. From the station, walk towards the main road (Avenida Dr. Miguel Bombarda) and head southwest. Continue straight until you reach the junction with the Estrada da Pena. Turn left onto Estrada da Pena and follow it until you see signs for the bus station. Once you reach the bus station, you will need to take the train to Lisbon. The train station is only a few blocks away from the bus station, and signs will guide you there.

At the Sintra train station, purchase a ticket for Lisbon (Lisboa). The trains run frequently, and the journey will take approximately 40 minutes. Once you arrive at the Rossio train station in Lisbon, exit the station and follow the signs to the Praça dos Restauradores.

Metro
From Praça dos Restauradores, walk to the Rossio Metro Station, which is just a short distance away. Take the Green Line towards Cais do Sodré and get off at the final stop. Once you’re at Cais do Sodré, transfer to the Cais do Sodré train towards Cascais and get off at the next stop, which is the station closest to your destination.

From the Cais do Sodré train station, head towards Rua do Arco do Marquês de Alegrete. It’s a short 5-minute walk. Follow the signs or use a map app to guide you along the route.
