Walking
If you are in the center of Sintra, start at the Sintra train station. Exit the station and head towards the main road, Avenida Dr. Alfredo da Costa. Turn left and walk straight until you reach the main square, Praça da República. From the square, continue straight onto Rua do Paço, which will lead you to the entrance of the Sintra National Palace. Keep walking past the palace and continue upwards on the road, following signs towards Pena Palace. After about 15 minutes, you will reach Estrada da Pena. Villa Sassetti will be on your left side after a short walk.

From the Sintra train station, take bus number 434, which is the official tourist bus that goes to both the Pena Palace and the Moorish Castle. Stay on the bus until you reach the stop for 'Pena Palace.' After getting off, walk back along the road for about 5 minutes. You will see Villa Sassetti on your right along Estrada da Pena.
