    Walking

    If you are in the historic center of Sintra, start at the Sintra train station. Exit the station and head towards the main road, Avenida Dr. Miguel Bombarda. Walk straight for about 10 minutes until you reach the Sintra National Palace. From there, continue walking along the narrow streets towards the town center. Follow signs that indicate 'Lisbon' and 'Castelo de São Jorge'. After approximately 20 minutes, you will arrive at the Miradouro de Santa Luzia viewpoint, where you can enjoy stunning views of the city. From the viewpoint, walk down to R. de Santa Cruz do Castelo, which is about a 10-minute walk downhill. The Arco do Castelo will be on your right at number 10.

    From the Sintra train station, take bus number 434 towards 'Palácio da Pena'. Get off at the stop 'Castelo dos Mouros'. From there, follow the signs for 'Castelo de São Jorge'. It is approximately a 15-minute walk downhill to reach the Arco do Castelo. As you walk, enjoy the historical architecture and the beautiful surroundings of Lisbon. After reaching the main road, turn left onto R. de Santa Cruz do Castelo, and you will find the Arco do Castelo at number 10.
