Walking
If you are starting at the Sintra train station, exit the station and head towards the main road, Avenida Dr. Miguel Bombarda. Turn left and walk along this road. After about 300 meters, you will reach a roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Rua da Ferraria. Continue straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach the intersection with Rua do Crato. Turn right onto Rua do Crato and continue walking for another 300 meters. You will see the Dr. Gregorio Almeida Statue located in the park at the end of the street.
Bus
From the Sintra train station, look for the bus stop outside the station. Take the bus number 435 towards 'Praia das Maçãs'. The journey will take approximately 15 minutes. Get off at the 'Alameda' stop. From the bus stop, walk straight down the street for about 400 meters. You will find the Dr. Gregorio Almeida Statue in the park at the end of the street.
Cycling
If you have rented a bike in Sintra, start from the center of Sintra and head towards the Sintra train station. From there, follow the directions for walking, as described above. Cycling along the designated bike lanes will make your journey easier and faster, taking about 10-15 minutes to reach the statue.
