    If you are starting from the Sintra train station, exit the station and head towards the main road (Av. Dr. Alfredo da Silva). Turn left and continue walking straight. Follow the signs to the city center (Centro Histórico). After about 15 minutes, you will reach the historic center of Sintra. Once you arrive at the main square (Praça da República), you will see a large fountain. From the fountain, head towards the Rua do Paço. Continue straight until you reach Largo Rainha Dona Amélia, where the Sintra National Palace is located. The palace will be on your right.

    From the Sintra train station, you can take the Scotturb bus number 434, which is a circular route that connects the train station to the main attractions in Sintra including the Sintra National Palace. Board the bus at the designated bus stop outside the station. The bus will take you directly to the palace. Keep an eye on the stops and disembark at the stop labeled 'Palácio Nacional de Sintra.' The palace is just a short walk from the bus stop.
