Getting There
Walking
Start from the Sintra train station. Once you exit the station, head towards the main road (Avenida Dr. Miguel bombarda). Walk straight for about 200 meters until you reach the intersection with Rua Visconde de Juromenha. Turn left onto Rua Visconde de Juromenha. Continue walking for approximately 1 km until you reach the entrance to the Parque Natural de Sintra-Cascais. Enter the park and follow the marked trails, staying on the main paths. After about 1.5 km of walking through the beautiful natural surroundings, you will find Fonte dos Pisões, which is known for its picturesque setting and tranquility.
Bus
From the Sintra train station, take the Scotturb bus line 441 towards 'Praia das Maçãs'. Get off at the stop 'Cabo da Roca' after about 15 minutes. After disembarking, walk back for about 200 meters along the road, and you will see the path leading into the Parque Natural de Sintra-Cascais. Follow the trail for approximately 1 km, and you will reach Fonte dos Pisões.
Bicycle
Rent a bicycle from one of the rental shops near the Sintra train station. Head towards the main road (Avenida Dr. Miguel bombarda) and cycle straight for about 1 km until you reach the entrance to the Parque Natural de Sintra-Cascais. Once inside the park, follow the designated cycling paths that lead you directly to Fonte dos Pisões, which is around 2 km into the park.
