Walking
If you're starting from the Sintra train station, exit the station and head towards the main road, Avenida Dr. Miguel Bombarda. Turn left and walk along this road for about 15 minutes. You'll pass several shops and cafes. Continue straight until you reach the first roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Rua da Liberdade. Follow this road until you see a sign for Palácio Valenças. The palace will be on your left at R. Visc. de Monserrate 60.
Bus
From the Sintra train station, take the Scotturb bus line 434 towards the Sintra historic center. Get off at the stop 'Palácio da Pena'. From there, walk down the hill on Rua da Pena, which turns into R. Visc. de Monserrate. Follow this road for about 10 minutes, and you will reach Palácio Valenças on your right.
Taxi
If you prefer a quicker route, you can take a taxi from anywhere in Sintra. Just tell the driver to take you to Palácio Valenças located at R. Visc. de Monserrate 60. The ride should take about 5-10 minutes depending on traffic.
