Getting There

On Foot
If you are starting from the Sintra train station, exit the station and head towards the main road (Avenida Dr. Miguel Bombarda). Turn left on Avenida Dr. Miguel Bombarda and walk straight until you reach the roundabout. From there, continue straight onto Rua do Ferrador. Follow this road, and you will reach the historical center of Sintra. Once you reach the historic center, look for signs pointing towards the Palace of Pena. Follow these signs along the path towards the Pena Palace. After approximately 30 minutes of walking, you will see a sign directing you to The Warrior Statue. Continue along this path, and in about 15 minutes, you will reach the statue.

From the Sintra train station, take the Scotturb bus number 434 towards the Palace of Pena. The bus will take you directly to the Palace. Once you arrive at the Palace, you can follow the signs towards The Warrior Statue, which is approximately a 15-minute walk from the Palace. The path is well-marked and will lead you through some beautiful scenery.

If you prefer to rent a bicycle, you can do so at various rental shops in Sintra. Start from the Sintra train station and head towards the main road (Avenida Dr. Miguel Bombarda). Follow the road towards the historical center and then look for the signs to the Palace of Pena. Once you reach the Palace, continue along the designated bike paths. The Warrior Statue is about a 15-minute bike ride from the Palace, and you will enjoy a scenic route through the Sintra-Cascais Natural Park.
