From Tomar, head to the Tomar Bus Station (Estação Rodoviária de Tomar). Take the bus to Ourém. The bus ride takes approximately 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive at the Ourém bus station, exit and walk towards the main road (Avenida da Liberdade). After about a 10-minute walk, you will reach the foot of the Castle of Ourém. Follow the signs leading up to the castle.

Rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops in Tomar. Head towards the EN110 road, following the signs towards Ourém. The ride is approximately 15 km and takes around 45 minutes to an hour. Upon arriving in Ourém, look for signs to the Castle, which is situated on a hilltop. You may need to park your bicycle near the base of the castle and walk up to the entrance.

If you prefer to walk, start from the center of Tomar and take the path along the river to join the EN110 road. This trek is approximately 15 km and may take around 3-4 hours, depending on your pace. As you walk, enjoy the scenic views of the countryside. Upon reaching Ourém, follow the signs to the Castle, which is situated at the top of the hill. Be prepared for a steep uphill walk.
