If you are in the town center of Tomar, start at the Praça da República. Head southwest towards Rua Serpa Pinto, then turn right onto Rua de Jorge Amado. Continue straight until you reach the river. Note that walking to Alcobaça is not recommended due to the distance, but this route will take you to the bus station if you prefer.
