Getting There

• Bus

  From the central bus station in Tomar, take the bus heading to Alcobaça. Ensure to check the bus schedule for the next departure. The journey will take approximately 45 minutes. Once you arrive at the Alcobaça bus station, exit the station and turn left onto Avenida da Liberdade. Walk straight for about 600 meters until you reach a roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto N8. Continue on N8 for about 1.5 kilometers. Quinta dos Capuchos will be on your right at the address N8-6 28.

• Taxi

  If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi from Tomar to Quinta dos Capuchos. Simply call a local taxi service or use a ride-hailing app. The taxi ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Provide the driver with the address: N8-6 28, 2460-479 Alcobaça.

• Walking

  Though it is quite a distance, you can walk to Quinta dos Capuchos if you are feeling adventurous. Start at Praça da República in Tomar, heading south on Rua Serpa Pinto. Continue straight to Rua da Liberdade, then turn left onto Avenida dos Três Reis. This will lead you out of Tomar. Follow the signs for N8 and walk along this road for approximately 10 kilometers until you reach Alcobaça. Once you enter Alcobaça, look for N8-6 28 on your right.
