Walking

The entrance is located at Estr. do Convento 8, where you will find the ticket office and the main entrance to the castle.

From the Tomar train station, exit and walk towards the main road, Av. Dr. João Rato. Catch the local bus (Bus 2) heading towards 'Convento de Cristo.' The bus will take you directly to the Convento de Cristo stop, which is very close to the castle entrance on Estr. do Convento. After getting off, walk up the path towards the castle entrance.
