If you are starting from the Tomar Train Station, exit the station and head straight down Rua da Estação. Continue straight until you reach the Avenida Marquês de Tomar. Turn left and walk along the avenue until you reach the main square. The Praça da República is located at Praça da República 41, just ahead on your right. Look for the beautiful tiles on the pavement as you approach.

From the Convento de Cristo, exit the complex and head down the hill towards the city center. Follow the signs to Praça da República. You will walk along Rua do Cemitério. Continue straight until you reach the main square, where you will find Praça da República 41 on your left. Enjoy the view of the historical buildings surrounding the square.
