If you are starting from the Viana do Castelo city center, head towards Praça da República, which is a central square. From there, take Rua do Comércio, walking north until you reach the end of the street. Turn left onto Avenida dos Combatentes da Grande Guerra. Continue straight for about 500 meters until you see a junction with Rua das Almas. Turn right onto Rua das Almas, and you will reach Capela das Almas at Praça Frei Gonçalo Velho 6.

From the Viana do Castelo train station, take bus line 3 towards Monte do Calvário. Get off at the stop called 'Praça da República'. From there, follow the walking directions provided previously: head towards Rua do Comércio, turn left onto Avenida dos Combatentes da Grande Guerra, and then right onto Rua das Almas. Capela das Almas will be at Praça Frei Gonçalo Velho 6.
