Walking
From the center of Viana do Castelo, head east towards Av. de Cabo Verde. Walk along this avenue until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto R. de São Sebastião. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with R. da Liberdade. Turn left onto R. da Liberdade and walk until you reach the bus station (Praça da República). From there, you can catch a bus towards Paredes de Coura. Make sure to check the bus schedule in advance for the latest departure times.
Public Transport (Bus)
Once you arrive at the Praça da República bus station, look for the bus service that goes to Paredes de Coura. Buses to this destination are relatively frequent, but it's advisable to check the schedule on the day of your visit. The journey will take approximately 30-40 minutes. When you arrive at Paredes de Coura, ask the bus driver to let you know when you reach Corno do Bico, as it's a well-known landmark. After that, you will need to walk approximately 10-15 minutes from the bus stop to the Corno do Bico Protected Landscape.
Bicycle
For a more adventurous route, rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Viana do Castelo. Head east towards Av. de Cabo Verde and then follow the same path as the walking instructions until you reach the roundabout. From the roundabout, take the second exit onto R. de São Sebastião. Continue straight, but instead of turning left at R. da Liberdade, continue along the cycle path towards Paredes de Coura. This route will take you through scenic landscapes, and it should take about 1 hour to reach Corno do Bico.
