From there, walk northwest along Rua da Misericórdia until you reach the intersection with Avenida 10 de Junho. Turn left and continue straight until you reach the roundabout. Once you arrive at Lamego, continue along Rua da República until it merges with Rua de Pêro da Covilhã. Follow this road until you see signs for Bairro do Castelo. The castle is located on a hill; you may need to follow the pedestrian paths leading up to the castle entrance.
