If you are in the center of Vila Real, head towards the main square, Praça do Município. From there, you can see the Avenida Carvalho Araújo. Walk straight along this avenue for about 15 minutes, enjoying the local shops and cafes along the way. Continue until you reach the junction with Rua da Alegria. Turn left and follow Rua da Alegria until you reach the bus station, which is a common landmark. From the bus station, you can take a regional bus towards Lamego. After approximately 10 minutes, take a right onto Rua da Sé, which will lead you directly to Largo da Sé, where the Lamego Cathedral is located.
