Walking
From the center of Vila Real, head south on Rua de Trás do Rio towards the main road, Avenida 10 de Junho. Continue straight for about 700 meters until you reach the intersection with Rua do Beco. Turn left onto Rua do Beco and continue walking for another 300 meters. You will see a bus station on your right. Cross the street and continue straight onto Rua do Cais. Follow this road until it merges into Avenida de Portugal. Keep walking straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the bus station in Guimarães. From the bus station, it's a 10-minute walk to Largo do Toural. Exit the bus station, turn left onto Rua de São Gonçalo, and walk straight until you reach Largo do Toural 22.

From Vila Real, walk to the bus station located at Avenida 10 de Junho. Purchase a ticket for Guimarães, which is about a 30-minute bus ride. Once you arrive at the Guimarães bus station, exit the station and turn left onto Rua de São Gonçalo. Walk straight for approximately 800 meters until you reach Largo do Toural 22. The landmark will be on your right.
