Start at the Vila Real train station, located in the city center. Purchase a ticket to Pinhão. The train ride takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Pinhão station, exit the station and follow the signs towards the river. Walk straight for about 10 minutes along the road until you reach N323. The Ponte do Pinhão will be visible from there.

From Vila Real, head to the main bus terminal located near the city center. Look for a bus that goes to Pinhão. The bus journey takes about 40 minutes. Once you arrive in Pinhão, exit the bus and walk towards the river. Follow the road for approximately 10 minutes, and you'll reach N323 where the Ponte do Pinhão is located.

If you prefer walking, begin at the center of Vila Real, near Praça do Município. Head southeast on Rua de João de Araújo toward Avenida 10 de Junho. Continue straight until you reach the roundabout. Take the first exit onto N313, which will lead you out of Vila Real. The total walking distance is about 10 kilometers, which will take approximately 2 hours. Follow the road signs to Pinhão. Once you reach N323, follow it until you see the Ponte do Pinhão.
