Getting There

• Public Transport - Bus

  From Vila Real city center, head to the main bus station located at Avenida dos Aliados. Look for the bus services to Penafiel, which are operated by Transdev. Buses typically run every hour. Upon arriving in Penafiel, disembark at the Penafiel bus station. From there, you can take a local taxi or walk to Rua da Aveleda 2, which is approximately 3 km away. If walking, head south on Avenida da Liberdade, then take a left onto Rua da Aveleda, where Quinta da Aveleda is located.

• Taxi

  If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi from Vila Real to Quinta da Aveleda. Simply call a local taxi service or use a ride-hailing app. Provide the driver with the address: Rua da Aveleda 2, 4560-570 Penafiel. The journey should take around 30 minutes, depending on traffic.

• Walking (from Penafiel bus station)

  Once you arrive at the Penafiel bus station, you can walk to Quinta da Aveleda. Exit the bus station and head south on Avenida da Liberdade. Continue straight for approximately 2 km until you reach Rua da Aveleda. Turn left onto Rua da Aveleda, and Quinta da Aveleda will be on your right. This walk should take about 30-40 minutes.
