Public Transport
Start at the central bus station in Vila Real (Estação Rodoviária de Vila Real). From there, take a bus that heads towards São Mamede de Ribatua. Buses typically run every hour, but it’s advisable to check the current schedule at the station. Once on the bus, enjoy the scenic ride for about 30 minutes until you reach the stop closest to Ujo Observation Deck. Disembark at the 'São Mamede de Ribatua' stop. After getting off the bus, follow the road signs directing you towards EM596. Walk for approximately 15 minutes; the observation deck will be on your right-hand side, offering stunning views.

Walking
If you prefer to walk from Vila Real to Ujo Observation Deck, start from the Praça do Município (the main square). Head northeast on Avenida 10 de Junho, then turn left onto Rua da Alegria. Continue straight towards the outskirts of Vila Real, crossing the bridge over the river. After about 1.5 km, you will reach the edge of São Mamede de Ribatua. From here, take a right onto EM596 and walk for about 30 minutes. The observation deck will be on your right side along this road. This walking route is approximately 4 km long and offers a pleasant journey through the countryside.
