If you are in the city center or near Rua Direita, head towards Rua da Cava. Continue straight until you reach Praça da República, which is a large square with a fountain in the middle. From there, take the right exit onto Rua do Comércio and follow the street as it curves to the left. Continue straight until you see the impressive façade of the Viseu Cathedral on your right side. Praça da Sé is right in front of the cathedral, a beautiful open space perfect for relaxing and enjoying the surroundings.

Find the nearest bus stop and take any local bus heading towards the city center. Ask the driver for help or check the bus route to ensure it stops at Praça da República. Once you arrive at Praça da República, disembark and follow the walking directions from the city center: head onto Rua do Comércio, and then towards the Viseu Cathedral. Praça da Sé will be directly in front of the cathedral.

If you have rented a bicycle, start from your location and head towards the center of Viseu. Cycle along Avenida da Europa until you reach the roundabout. Take the exit towards Rua da Cava and continue until you reach Praça da República. From there, turn onto Rua do Comércio and follow it straight to the Viseu Cathedral. Praça da Sé is located right in front of the cathedral, and it is a lovely spot to park your bike and take in the scenery.
