From the center of Arecibo, head to the main bus terminal located on Calle Luis Muñoz Marín. Look for the bus labeled 'Caguas' or 'Bayamón' which will take you toward PR-10. Inform the bus driver of your destination, Cueva Ventana. The bus will travel on PR-10, and you will need to disembark when you see the signs for Cueva Ventana, which is about a 30-40 minute ride. The bus may not drop you directly at the entrance, so be prepared to walk a short distance.
Taxi or Rideshare
If you prefer a more direct route, you can request a taxi or use a rideshare app like Uber. Simply input 'Cueva Ventana' or the address PR-10 Km. 75, Arecibo, 00612 as your destination. The drive will take approximately 20-30 minutes depending on traffic. Ensure you confirm the driver's route before starting the journey.
Walking from Nearby Locations
If you find yourself near the PR-10 road or at a nearby attraction, you can walk to Cueva Ventana. Look for PR-10 and head towards Km. 75. The entrance to the cave is marked, and you may encounter a short uphill path leading to the cave. Be mindful of the surrounding area, as it can be steep and uneven. It's advisable to wear sturdy shoes.
