Getting There

• Walking

  Start at the Arecibo Lighthouse and Historical Park. Exit the park and head northwest on Route 681. Continue walking for about 15 minutes until you reach the intersection with Route 2. Turn left onto Route 2 and walk for another 10 minutes until you reach the bus stop at Plaza del Mercado. From here, take the bus to Tanamá. When you get off the bus in Tanamá, walk east on Road 651 for about 5 minutes until you reach the location at C74H+F7. Follow the signs and local paths to reach Río la Planta.

• Public Transport

  From the Arecibo Plaza, take the local bus (usually marked 'Tanamá') that runs frequently throughout the day. Stay on the bus for about 20 minutes until you reach the Tanamá stop. Once you get off, walk east on Road 651 for about 5 minutes to arrive at C74H+F7, where Río la Planta is located. Make sure to ask the bus driver or locals for the exact stop to ensure you don’t miss it.

• Bicycle

  If you prefer cycling, rent a bike at one of the local shops in Arecibo. From Arecibo, head northwest on Route 681 for about 15 minutes. Turn left onto Route 2 and cycle for another 10 minutes until you reach the Tanamá area. Park your bike near the bus stop at Plaza del Mercado. Continue on foot east on Road 651 for about 5 minutes to reach C74H+F7, where Río la Planta is located. Be sure to wear a helmet and follow local cycling laws.
