Bus
To reach La Piedra Escrita from central Bayamón, head to the nearest bus terminal or stop. Look for the bus labeled 'Aguadilla' or 'Ponce' which operates on Route 1. Board the bus and stay on until you reach the 'Jayuya' stop. Once you get off, you will need to walk approximately 1.5 kilometers to reach La Piedra Escrita. Follow the road signs pointing towards 'Carretera 144.' This area is mostly rural, so keep an eye on your surroundings as you navigate.
Taxi or Rideshare
If you prefer a more direct route, you can use a taxi or a rideshare service like Uber. Simply request a ride to 'Carretera 144, Km. 7.3, Jayuya' using the app. The driver will take you directly to La Piedra Escrita without the need for any transfers. This option is highly recommended if you are traveling with a group or have luggage.
Walking
If you are feeling adventurous and are staying relatively close to the location, you can walk. Starting from the center of Bayamón, head north towards Calle Degetau. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with Avenida San Pablo. Follow Avenida San Pablo until you reach Carretera 144. Turn right and walk along Carretera 144 for about 7 kilometers to reach La Piedra Escrita. Be mindful of the local traffic while walking.
