Car
If you are driving from San Juan, take Route 22 West towards Arecibo. Continue on Route 22 for about 70 miles until you reach the exit for Route 2. Merge onto Route 2 and follow the signs for Isabela. Once you reach Isabela, turn left onto Route 466. Follow Route 466 until you see signs for Playa Guajataca. The beach will be on your left.

Public Transportation
To reach Playa Guajataca by public transportation, take a bus from San Juan towards Aguadilla. You can catch the bus at the main terminal in San Juan. Once you arrive in Aguadilla, transfer to a local guagua (shared van) heading towards Isabela. Inform the driver you want to go to Playa Guajataca, and they will drop you off near the beach entrance.

If you are in the western town of Rincon, drive east on Route 115 until you reach Route 2. Turn left onto Route 2 and head towards Isabela. Once you get to Isabela, take Route 466. Follow this road until you see signs for Playa Guajataca, which will be on your left.

From Mayaguez, take a bus to Isabela. Once you arrive, look for a guagua that goes to the beach areas. Let the driver know you want to visit Playa Guajataca, and they will drop you off close to the beach entrance.
