Public Bus
From Cabo Rojo, head to the nearest bus stop that services the Aguadilla route. You can find these stops along the main road, such as Avenida Pedro Albizu Campos. Look for a bus with a sign indicating Aguadilla. Once on the bus, enjoy the ride which will take approximately 30-40 minutes. Ask the driver to drop you off at the nearest stop to Rompeolas Beach South, which is near the Aguadilla Pueblo area.
Taxi
If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi from your location in Cabo Rojo. Simply call a local taxi service or use a rideshare app if available. Provide them with the address 'CRMV+RR8, Aguadilla, 00603' and confirm the price before starting your journey. The ride will take around 25-30 minutes depending on traffic.
Walking from Aguadilla Bus Terminal
If you arrive in Aguadilla by bus, you can walk to Rompeolas Beach South. From the Aguadilla Bus Terminal, exit and head south on Calle José de Diego. Continue straight for about 0.5 miles (approximately 10-15 minutes), then turn left onto Route 107. Walk for another 0.2 miles until you reach the entrance to Rompeolas Beach South, which will be on your right.
Bicycle Rental
For a more adventurous option, consider renting a bicycle in Cabo Rojo. Head to a nearby rental shop and ask for a bike. From there, cycle towards Aguadilla via Route 2. This route is approximately 10 miles long and will take about an hour. Once in Aguadilla, navigate towards the beach by following signs or asking locals for directions to 'Rompeolas Beach South'.
