Lovely time led by a local!
Maria was my tour guide, we met at the Walgreens in Utuado (the day before, she sent an address pin for the meeting spot). She was super helpful and knowledgeable. Very nice. She provided the safety gear and a wooden walking stick. The tour lasted about 2 hours. She taught us some history and facts about the agriculture of PR. She took the photos I’ve uploaded with this review! Things to keep in mind: she’s from the mountains, when you follow her up the windy roads to get to the canyon, you should know she drives like a local. I was able to keep up, so it wasn’t too crazy, but the roads can be intimidating to some, so just be aware. Also, the tour is fully in Spanish. Wear shoes that are grippy! I had a pair of water shoes that weren’t very grippy and I would’ve felt more secure with better shoes. One of the other ppl with me wore flip flops and she ended up just going barefoot for most of the trek.

Perfect Getaway Tour of Indian Cave with Gozalandia
Beautiful day in a beautiful country
We did a tour with Rafael and our best decision was to let him pick where and when to go. We have never been to Puerto Rico so we wanted a local to show us what the locals love to see and do. We had the best time visiting all the beautiful areas. We had two teenage girls with us so Rafael designed a trip to be fun and educational. We not only meet a tour guide we met a new friend.
