Car
If you're traveling by car, start from the main entrance of the Caribbean National Forest, known as El Yunque National Forest Visitor Center. Head southwest on PR-191, then merge onto PR-66. Follow PR-66 until you reach the junction with PR-156. Turn right onto PR-156 and continue for approximately 17.7 km. Look for the entrance to Cañón San Cristóbal on your left, where you will find signage indicating the nature preserve. Parking is available at the site, and there is no fee to enter.
Public Transportation
Using public transportation, you can take a bus from San Juan to Barranquitas. Look for the 'Públicos' (shared vans) that go to Barranquitas from the terminal in San Juan.
