Our visit to Old San Juan with Borilocal Tours was extraordinary. Mariana, our guide, perfectly combined charisma, enthusiasm and impressive knowledge of Puerto Rico’s history and culture, making the tour interesting and fun at the same time. We were a group of 9 people, some spoke only English and others Spanish and English, and Mariana flowed naturally between both languages with impeccable command, making us all feel included and special. The passage of the tour was very comfortable, making good use of the time without the walk feeling heavy. In addition, it was prepared for everything: rain coats, hand sanitizer and even toilet paper in case it was not available in the bathrooms. His energy was contagious. The detail of giving us Medal beer was a spectacular touch, and trying the real coconut limber was the perfect complement. I have travelled to more than 58 countries and have taken many excursions, and I can certainly say that Mariana and Borilocal Tours are among the best experiences I have ever had. Totally top notch. An amazing tour around the island. With knowledgeable travel guides. Our tour guide was Jose he was fun respectful and a complete gem. My mother and I were the only ones who were there that day and he made sure we got to see everything from the tourist spots to the local spots we had the most amazing fruits and food and learned so much about the history and culture of Puerto Rico. 10/10
