If you're traveling by car, start by navigating to Route 10 (Carretera #10) which runs through the Central Mountain Range. From the nearest major town, which is Utuado, head south on Route 10. After approximately 10 miles, take the exit for Route 123 towards Adjuntas. Continue on Route 123 for about 6 miles until you reach the town of Adjuntas. Once in Adjuntas, look for signs directing you to Lago Garzas. The lake is located just a short drive from the town center. Parking is available near the lake.

For those using public transportation, you can take a bus from San Juan to Utuado. The bus service is operated by the Puerto Rico Public Transportation Authority. Once you arrive in Utuado, you can transfer to a local bus heading towards Adjuntas. Make sure to confirm the schedule in advance as bus frequencies may vary. After you reach Adjuntas, you will need to take a taxi or rideshare service to get to Lago Garzas, as public transport does not go directly to the lake. Expect to pay around $15 for the taxi ride.
