Car
From the center of the Central Mountain Range, head towards Route 10 South. Follow Route 10 until you reach the intersection with Route 2. Take Route 2 West towards Arecibo. Continue on Route 2 for about 10 miles, and then take the exit for Route 681 towards Arecibo. Follow Route 681 for approximately 5 miles until you reach the area near Rio Tanama. Look for parking areas along the river where you can safely stop your car.

Start at the nearest bus stop in the Central Mountain Range, and take a bus heading towards Arecibo. Make sure to check the bus schedule for the latest departure times. Once you arrive in Arecibo, you may need to transfer to a local bus or taxi that goes towards Route 681, which leads to Rio Tanama. Inform the driver that your destination is Rio Tanama, and they will drop you off at a location close to the river.
