Car
If you are starting from the town of San Germán, take PR-2 (Carretera #2) towards Cabo Rojo. After approximately 12 miles, merge onto PR-100 (Carretera #100) and continue for about 5 miles. Take a left onto PR-101 (Carretera #101) and follow the signs towards the Túnel Guaniquilla. The tunnel is located at 2RW5+FQW, Cabo Rojo, 00623. There is usually no entry fee, and parking is available nearby.
Public Transportation
To reach Túnel Guaniquilla via public transportation, you can take a public bus from San Juan to Cabo Rojo. Look for the Caribe Bus line, which operates routes to Cabo Rojo. Once you arrive at Cabo Rojo, you may need to take a local taxi or rideshare service to cover the remaining distance to Túnel Guaniquilla, which is approximately 5 miles away from the town center.
