If you're driving to Playa Tortuga, start from the main town of Dewey, Culebra. Head southeast on PR-251 and continue for about 4 miles. You'll pass the Culebra National Wildlife Refuge on your left. Keep an eye out for the signs indicating Playa Tortuga. When you reach the intersection with the road leading to the beach, turn right. Follow this road until you reach the beach parking area. Note that parking may have a small fee, so be prepared with cash.
