Start your journey by taking a ferry from Fajardo to Culebra. The ferry ride lasts about 1 hour. Once you arrive at the Culebra Ferry Terminal, you will want to head towards the main street, Calle Pedro Marquez. From there, you can catch a local taxi or take a shared van (collectivo) to the Flamenco Beach area, which is a popular spot. The drivers will be familiar with the area and can drop you off at a convenient location. From Flamenco Beach, walk along the beach access road until you reach the end of the beach, where you will find a trail leading towards the hills. Follow this trail, which will eventually connect you to a path that leads to the Puerto Ferro Lighthouse. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes and bring plenty of water, as the walk can take around 30-45 minutes.

Bicycle Rental
For a more adventurous route, consider renting a bicycle at one of the local shops in Culebra. After securing your bike, head towards Route 251, which is the main road. You will cycle along this route until you reach a fork. Take the right fork towards Playa Resaca. Continue cycling until you reach the beach area where you'll find signs for hiking trails. Park your bicycle and follow the trail leading towards the Puerto Ferro Lighthouse. The cycling journey is approximately 30-40 minutes depending on your pace, and the hike from the beach to the lighthouse takes an additional 20-30 minutes.
