Walking
If you are staying in the Dorado area, start by walking towards the main road, PR-693. Head northeast towards the intersection with PR-22. Once you reach PR-22, you can catch a local bus or walk further until you reach the bus stop. Take the bus heading to Barceloneta. The bus ride should take around 30-40 minutes depending on traffic. Ask the bus driver or fellow passengers to let you know when to get off at Barceloneta. Once you arrive in Barceloneta, follow the signs towards Paseo de las Alas, which is located at FF45+496. It’s a short walk from the bus stop, and you will see the entrance to the park.
Bicycle
For those who prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle in Dorado. Start by heading towards PR-693 and make your way northeast. Follow the route towards PR-22; there are bike lanes available. Once you reach PR-22, you will cycle for about 10-15 minutes until you reach the exit for Barceloneta. Continue along the road until you see signs for Paseo de las Alas. The entrance is located at FF45+496, which is easily accessible by bike.
Public Transport
You can take a local bus from Dorado to Barceloneta. Start by locating the nearest bus stop in Dorado, usually found near popular tourist areas or hotels. Board a bus that is heading towards Barceloneta and pay the fare as you enter. The ride will take approximately 30-40 minutes. When you arrive in Barceloneta, disembark at the main square, and from there, it’s a short walk to Paseo de las Alas located at FF45+496. Look for local signage or ask locals for directions to the park.
