Getting There

  • Car

    If you're driving from San Juan, take Route 26 (Expreso José de Diego) and continue onto PR-66. Follow PR-66 until you reach the intersection with PR-3. Merge onto PR-3 heading east towards Río Grande. Continue on PR-3 for about 10 miles until you reach PR-186. Turn right onto PR-186. Look for the entrance to El Yunque National Forest. Once inside the forest, follow the road until you see signs for the Cascada Río Espíritu Santo trailhead. Park in the designated area. There is no fee for parking.

  • Public Transportation

    Take a public bus (Caribbean Bus) from San Juan to Río Grande. The bus will drop you off near the intersection of PR-3 and PR-186. From there, you will need to walk approximately 1.5 miles to reach the trailhead for Cascada Río Espíritu Santo. Look for signs directing you to the trail.
