Car
From El Yunque National Forest, take PR-191 south towards PR-3. Merge onto PR-3 and continue for about 12 miles. Look for signs directing you to San Juan. Merge onto the PR-26 W (John Fitzgerald Kennedy Expy) towards San Juan. Continue on this road for approximately 10 miles. Take exit 1D toward Ave. Ponce de León. Continue straight until you reach the Parque Central de San Juan, located at CWRC+7F4, John Fitzgerald Kennedy Expy, San Juan, 00907. There is no entry fee for the park.

Public Transportation
To reach Parque Central de San Juan via public transportation, you can take a guagua (public van) from El Yunque. Look for a guagua heading towards Fajardo or San Juan. Once you get to the San Juan area, you can transfer to bus routes that serve the Santurce area. Specifically, look for the bus routes that stop at Avenida Ponce de León or nearby. From there, it’s a short walk to Parque Central de San Juan. The total fare for the guagua is typically around $2-$3, and bus fares can vary, usually around $0.75 to $1.00.
